Chief Musical Troublemaker here.
My name is Anna, nice to meet you!
I'm a musician and educator with a Master's degree in Piano Performance, Accompaniment, and Music Pedagogy, as well as certification as an Ultimate Music Theory teacher. My mission is simple: to rescue music theory from its reputation as "the boring part."
I teach online group classes for students aged 6 to 106 because curiosity doesn't come with an expiration date. If you're a young beginner, a seasoned musician, or an adult who secretly wishes they'd learned this stuff years ago, my classes are designed to make music theory click.
I believe that understanding music doesn’t take the mystery out of it; it makes the magic even bigger. So come learn how chords work, how melodies tell stories, and why composers keep sneaking in those delightfully unexpected notes.
When I'm not teaching, you'll probably find me at a piano, listening to music, or convincing people that a well-placed diminished seventh chord can solve almost anything.
After all, music theory isn't about memorizing rules. It's about learning the secret handshake of musicians and the magic behind the notes.
